Leadership Coshocton County exists to activate and equip community-minded individuals to lead and engage with confidence in Coshocton County.

Our Mission Statement:
Leadership Coshocton County identifies, cultivates, and enhances leadership and connections among community members.
The goals of the program are to:
- Provide annual programs that equip community-minded students and adults across Coshocton County to lead with skill and confidence.
- Increase program participant awareness of Coshocton County’s resources, challenges, and opportunities.
- Facilitate meaningful conversations among participants and Coshocton County stakeholders to generate fresh ideas and community improvements.
- Challenge participants to commit their time, talent, and influence to improve the quality of life throughout Coshocton County.
Funding and Tuition
Leadership Coshocton County is primarily funded by The Coshocton Foundation and the Willard S. and Helen F. Breon Discretionary Fund, in addition to individual donors and participants’ tuition.
Tuition for the 2027 year which begins with the Welcome Reception in August will be $500.00 and includes all materials and costs associated with the program. Tuition is paid at the Welcome Reception in August and is nonrefundable after this date. Tuition may be paid by the employer or individual and a limited number of scholarships are available. Contact the Leadership office for more information.
The number of participants in Leadership Coshocton County is limited. Candidates may apply personally or be nominated by employers or other interested persons.
Applicants not selected are encouraged to re-apply for Leadership Coshocton County. Likewise, nominators are urged to re-submit names for consideration, as selection can become a multi-year process.
Candidates should have:
- A demonstrated commitment to the community
- An interest in assuming greater responsibility
- The intention to remain in the county
- The full support of their employer (if applicable)
- The ability to attend all sessions. Please check the current schedule for conflicts
